Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients in the CVOR setting
Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
Performs health teaching, health counseling, and supportive or restorative therapy and treatment
Executes delegated medical functions and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
Refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines; may be required to float to other departments based on business need
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN minimum)
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in a CVOR or surgical setting
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
