Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) – Registered Nurse – Travel

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Evening Shift | 10-Hour Shifts | 1:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Expected 40 Hours/Week | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room
- Function in scrub and/or circulating roles during CVOR cases as assigned
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety, sterile technique, and adherence to clinical protocols throughout all phases of care
- Participate in weekend on-call rotation, approximately once per month
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Demonstrated experience in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
- Ability to fulfill weekend on-call requirements as scheduled
- Must be available for a facility interview prior to assignment start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVOR or surgical services environment
- Familiarity with open-heart and complex cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Experience with scrub and circulating roles in a high-acuity OR setting
