    Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Projected Start: September 7, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in a cardiovascular operating room setting, including scrub and/or circulating roles for CV, vascular, and robotic surgical cases
    • Perform and assist with procedures such as CABG with or without valves, AAA and endovascular repair, ECMO, VATs (robotic, laparoscopic, or open), endarterectomy, bypass procedures, thrombectomy/embolectomy, and additional complex cardiovascular cases
    • Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including robotic systems, perfusion pumps, cell savers, hybrid room technology, and various surgical towers and positioning devices
    • Maintain accurate documentation using the Expanse EMR system
    • Adhere to count, attendance, and call policies as required by the unit
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including weekday call from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following morning and 24-hour weekend call approximately once per month
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience
    • Demonstrated ability to perform vascular and robotic surgical cases
    • Willingness and availability to take call as scheduled
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with endovascular procedures
    • Moderate sedation experience
    • Ability to perform ortho, ENT, GYN, and general surgical cases
    • CNOR certification
