Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a cardiovascular operating room setting in accordance with facility policies and standards of practice
- Adhere to a variable call schedule, including weekday call coverage from 2:00 PM – 5:30 AM and weekend call coverage from Friday 2:00 PM through Monday 5:30 AM
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every other day and every other weekend
- Work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with permanent hospital staff
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and effective perioperative patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 1 year of CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience
- Ability to fulfill a variable call schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with facility dress code (Navy Blue scrubs for RN staff)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiovascular or surgical specialty
- Familiarity with high-volume acute care hospital environments
