Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend Coverage: Friday–Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Function in a Charge RN capacity within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Provide direct patient care and clinical oversight during night shift hours
- Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks
- Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
- Adhere to holiday coverage expectations as outlined in contract terms
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Ability to fulfill holiday work requirements per contract (up to two major holidays if applicable to assignment period)
- Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; all compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start
- All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests permitted post-offer or onsite; no RTO permitted during orientation week
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Charge RN role within a surgical or cardiovascular setting
- Experience as a travel nurse is a plus, though first-time travelers are accepted
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures and related equipment
