Contract | Days | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) environment
- Adhere to a rotating schedule that includes one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per period (shifts do not need to be consecutive)
- Work weekday shifts from 5:00 AM–5:00 PM or 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, and weekend/holiday shifts from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Participate in required holiday rotation, including weekends surrounding holidays
- Float between multiple campus locations as needed, typically with one day of advance notice based on scheduled cases; on-call assignment remains at originally booked location
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
- Strong CVOR clinical skills required
- Ability to fulfill holiday and weekend rotation requirements
- Ability to float between multiple campus locations with short notice
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Familiarity with high-volume cardiovascular surgical environments
- Flexibility to accommodate variable weekly hours averaging approximately 70 hours per four-week period
