    Job Title

    Travel RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

    Location

    Asheville, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a CV PreOp setting with a 1:1 patient ratio in a 4-bed unit
    • Perform large-bore IV starts, chin-to-toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessment
    • Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
    • Transport patients to the OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
    • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation utilizing Cerner
    • Participate in on-call requirements, including staying late 1–2 times per week as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiovascular Surgery or related specialty
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
    • Critical care experience is required
    • Proficiency with BCMA and electronic documentation systems
    • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
    • Must be an experienced traveler — first-time travelers will not be considered
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior PreOp experience is a plus
    • Familiarity with GE Carescape monitoring systems and Fuji ultrasound equipment
    • Excellent interdepartmental communication and collaboration skills
