Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
Participate in on-call and weekend on-call rotations as required
Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including potential float to nearby sister facilities
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Complete required facility modules prior to and during orientation
Required Qualifications
Active Alaska RN License required; pending license considered, though license in hand is strongly preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience required
Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2-week period (clinician may be called off for one 10-hour shift per 2-week period)
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Alaska RN license already in hand at time of submission
Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or Level II Trauma facility
Flexibility with block scheduling arrangements
