    Job Title

    Travel RN – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

    Location

    Alexandria, Louisiana

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | 36–40 Hours/Week with Call Rotation | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide intraoperative nursing care in a cardiovascular and multi-specialty surgical environment including general surgery, orthopedic, neurosurgery, GYN, plastics, and robotic-assisted procedures
    • Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio across OR suites, adhering to unit-specific standards and protocols
    • Operate and assist with a variety of surgical equipment including robotics systems
    • Collaborate with RNs and Operating Room Technicians (ORTs) to ensure safe and effective patient care
    • Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
    • Participate in call rotation as required by the scheduling needs of the unit
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Louisiana or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 1 year of cardiovascular OR (CVOR) experience required — must have CV experience to be considered
    • Basic OR intraoperative skills
    • Experience with ORT functions required
    • Must reside or be located 50+ miles from the assignment location (travel requirement)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Advanced robotics experience strongly preferred
    • Scrub experience in orthopedic, neurosurgery, and/or general surgery specialties
    • Relevant surgical nursing certification (e.g., CNOR) preferred; significant experience considered in lieu of certification
    • Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
