**Exciting Opportunity for a CVOR RN!**
**Job Description:**
- **Start Date:** 10/05
- **Assignment Duration:** 16-26 weeks
- **Shifts Available:**
- 4 days (10-hour shifts from 0645-1715)
- 3 days (12-hour shifts from 0645-1915)
- **Call Requirements:**
- Flexible schedule to meet unit and patient care needs
- One/two weekday calls (1900-0715), usually one during the week unless short-staffed
- One full weekend of call every 5 weeks
- **Holiday Work:** Must be available to work 2 out of the 4 holidays:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Day
**Requirements:**
- **Certifications:**
- BLS required
- CNOR preferred
- **Experience Required:**
- Prior travel experience essential
- Must circulate only
- Minimum of 2 years OR RN experience with recent expertise in cardiovascular/open heart OR
- General experience required
- **Facility Experience:**
- Large (500+ beds), academic, teaching hospital experience is a must
- **Additional Skills:**
- Must have Epic experience within the past 2 years
- May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.) and must circulate but not required to scrub
**Additional Information:**
- IVS to Offer
- Available Schedule: Monday to Sunday
- No block schedules for any reason
- Bi-weekly orientations on Monday, next available is 10/19
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained
- Complete work history information is required (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.)
**Important Note:**
- Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area; reliable transportation is essential. Personal or rental vehicles are strongly recommended.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November – April.
