License: Valid RN license in California
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have:
- Must have experience circulating in surgical settings
- Travel experience required
- Epic experience required
- Call required: every other weekend and a weekly call requirement of 2-3 days
Description:
Local rate may differ.
Monday to Friday shifts with call required.
Candidates must have a valid California RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in necessary specialty areas to be considered.
Proficiency in surgical circulation and experience with Epic charting is required.
Call will be required every other weekend from Friday at 15:00 through Monday at 06:30.
Additionally, there will be a weekly call requirement of 2-3 days from 15:00 to 06:30.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Experience in a Level II trauma facility is required.
Candidates are expected to have skills in various surgical procedures including, but not limited to:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Cardiac Monitoring
- Surgical Aortic Valve Replacement (SAVR)
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
Candidates should also exhibit skills in patient monitoring, infection control, and wound management.
A comprehensive understanding of safety protocols in surgery is essential.
Candidates must adhere to the compliance and verification requirements set by the hiring entity.
