Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable shifts with call requirements; typically one weekday call per week and one weekend rotation every 5-6 weeks. Weekend coverage defined as Friday through Sunday. Flexibility required for holiday coverage.

  • Patient population includes adult and geriatric populations with 1:1 patient ratios
  • Opportunity for first-time travelers with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
  • Professional development in trauma-level surgical environments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgery, and thoracic procedures
  • Scrub experience in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery preferred
  • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Ability to float within facility and scope of practice as needed
  • Availability to work major holidays as required by assignment period
