Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse – Georgia

Schedule: Friday through Sunday weekend rotation with variable weekday call coverage (typically one weekday call per week and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks). Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed.

- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- Assignment duration varies with orientation hours based on contract length
- Holiday coverage required as part of assignment; travelers expected to work major holidays falling within contract period
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum two years of CVOR experience
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience required
- Current Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
- ACLS and BLS certifications required and must be current
- Epic charting system experience required
- Experience with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, carotid endarterectomy, and related cardiovascular surgeries
- Ability to scrub for cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases
- Trauma Level I or II experience strongly preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; all core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
