Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Schedule: Weekend shifts defined as Friday through Sunday. Call required, typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Float coverage within facility and scope of practice as needed, including Main OR.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment supporting winter holiday operational needs
- Comprehensive cardiovascular surgical case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, MAZE procedures, and thoracic/vascular surgeries
- Epic charting system utilized for documentation
- Patient population includes adult and geriatric age groups
- 1:1 patient ratio with interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
- First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular operating room experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Strong clinical skills in scrubbing cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
- Experience with IABP, VAD, TAVR, and advanced cardiac surgical cases preferred
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date

Additional Information:
- Holiday coverage is expected; travelers must be available to work major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day) that fall during the assignment period
- Request time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission; maximum 7 days per contract with restrictions during orientation week
- Orientation hours are non-billable and vary based on contract length
- Clinical screening process conducted to determine clinical fit prior to manager review
