**Join Our Dynamic Team as a CVOR RN!**
**Job Description:**
- Exciting opportunity for a dedicated CVOR RN in a fast-paced, large academic teaching hospital setting.
- Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts (0645-1915) with:
- One or two weekday call shifts (1900-0715) typically one per week unless short-staffed.
- One full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
- Must be flexible to meet unit and patient care needs.
**Requirements:**
- Current BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience with high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart OR.
- Prior travel experience is mandatory.
- Circulate only; must possess general OR experience.
- Experience in a large academic teaching hospital is required.
- Epic proficiency within the last 2 years is non-negotiable.
- May need to float to other OR suites (General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.), circulating only, no scrubbing required.
**Additional Information:**
- Orientation occurs bi-weekly on Mondays.
- Ensure all work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type) is complete for submission.
- Public transportation is NOT accessible; reliable transportation is a must. Personal or rental vehicles are strongly recommended.
- Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November to April.
- All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
