Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Schedule: Variable schedule with call coverage; typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 3-4 weeks. Rotating weekend shifts. Holiday coverage required as outlined in assignment policy.

Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Demonstrated experience in cardiac, thoracic, and endovascular procedures (HARD STOP requirement)
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
- Experience with procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, VAD, carotid endarterectomy, AAA repair, thoracotomy, and VATS
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
Position Details:
- Call responsibilities include variable weekday and weekend coverage
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed, including main OR
- Holiday work expectations: coverage required for holidays falling within assignment period per facility policy
- Time off requests must be finalized at submission; maximum 7 days RTO per contract
- Clinical screening process conducted to determine optimal fit
- Orientation hours are non-billable and vary by contract length
