Travelers should ensure all requested time off is finalized and minimal. End date options include 1/16, 1/30, and 2/13. Weekend-only options are available for Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday. All travelers are expected to be available to work all holidays not included in contracted time off. Call is required and may vary; typically, it involves one weekday and one weekend call every 5-6 weeks. Floating within facility/scope of practice may be required as needed. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Clinical candidates will be reviewed to determine fit. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment period. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler will be expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler will be expected to work two of them. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant, there will be a delay. Travelers from local areas are accepted at the same rate. All time off requests must be finalized upon submission. No time off requests can be made post-offer or on-site. Time off is not permitted during orientation week. The maximum time off allowed is 7 days per contract. Travelers must complete required onboarding items within 48 hours of signing. All compliance documents are due the Tuesday before the start date. Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation. All compliance items are recorded via transcripts.
