Location: Greenville, South Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts with call requirements; at least two days of call each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule; minimum of 5 weekend shifts per contract; average 3 cardiac cases per day
Highlights:
- Comprehensive cardiovascular surgery experience including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and aortic aneurysm repair
- Epic EMR system with 1 year minimum experience required
- 13-week contract with potential extensions available; must begin 3 weeks after signed contract
- Free parking provided at the facility
- Billable pre-assignment modules (up to 16 hours reimbursement)
- Floating may be required based on census needs to qualified units
Requirements:
- Active South Carolina RN license (must be active prior to start; pending licenses not accepted)
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA required), ACLS, and CNOR
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience; travel experience required
- Scrub cardiovascular surgery experience required; first assist experience preferred
- Proficiency in procedures including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve replacements, TAVR, IABP, cell saver, and femoral cannulation
- Knowledge of laser safety, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures
- Experience with specimen handling, mesh measuring, and retained foreign object protocols
- 1+ year experience with Epic EMR system
- Flu vaccination required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccination not required
