Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,917 per week in Columbus, OH

Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures including heart/lung transplant, VAD, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, AAA repair, femoral popliteal bypass, and TEVAR. Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts). Fixed or rotating weekends. No call required. Flexibility with scheduling is essential.

Highlights:

• Scrub experience required for advanced cardiac and vascular procedures including CABG, valve replacements, heart/lung transplant, aortic aneurysm repair, and endovascular interventions
• Utilize Epic charting system in a Level I Trauma facility
• 7-room operating suite serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Comprehensive case mix including open cardiac cases (CABG, valves, dissections, ECMO) and endovascular procedures (TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR)
• Interdisciplinary team dedicated to heart and vascular care excellence

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years overall Operating Room experience
• Minimum 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience
• Minimum 1 year CVOR scrub experience (hard requirement – must include cardiac and vascular scrub cases)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures including heart/lung transplant, VAD, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, AAA repair, femoral popliteal bypass, and TEVAR
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
