Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide perioperative nursing care across a multi-suite OR environment covering general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, spine, ENT, GI, and vascular cases
  • Support CVOR cases including CABG, vascular procedures (fem-pops, cut downs, fistulas), and hybrid cases in collaboration with the cath lab
  • Assist with C-sections in coordination with both L&D and main OR teams
  • Participate in on-call rotation: General OR expected approximately 5-6 call shifts per month including one weekend; CVOR RN expected approximately 10-11 call shifts per month including every other weekend; 20-minute call response time required for General RN
  • Work alongside OR technicians in a team-based surgical environment
  • Adhere to facility scrub color and dress code standards; scrubs are provided
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN licensure
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care OR setting
  • Must be able to independently perform and support C-sections
  • Must live at least 45 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Previous travel nursing experience with ability to acclimate quickly to a new environment
  • Strong orthopedic experience, particularly with total joint procedures
  • Exposure to vascular and hybrid OR/cath lab cases
  • Comfort working across multiple surgical specialties in a high-volume setting
