Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Alaska

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Location: Alaska

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (40 hours per week), on-call coverage required including weekend on-call rotation. Guaranteed 70 hours per 2-week pay period. Block scheduling accommodations available.

Requirements:

  • Current Alaska RN license or compact license (pending licenses considered with preference for Alaska license in hand)
  • Minimum 1 year of CVOR nursing experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with cell saver, blood product administration, and laser/radiation safety
  • Proficiency in wound management, specimen handling, infection control, and Universal Protocol compliance
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • Commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
