Description: The CVOR RN Circulator functions in a multi-faceted role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence in the practice of nursing. The RN is responsible for maintaining high standards for a caseload of patients as described by the scope of care for the area of practice. The RN demonstrates appropriate actions based on sound scientific research and evidence-based principles. The RN also coordinates and directs care delivered by the interdisciplinary team. The RN is accountable for compliance with applicable regulatory standards and institutional policies and procedures. The RN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly and indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients, families, and significant others. The RN is responsible for knowledge and implementation of the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN will flex to float between facilities as required. The RN will be on call a minimum of 1-2 days a week and a minimum of one weekend a month.
