Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: September 7, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operating room environment across pediatric cardiovascular and surgical service lines
- Assist surgeons during cardiac, open heart, and other pediatric surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide pre- and post-operative care in a 1:1 patient ratio setting
- Operate and utilize specialized equipment including the Belmont Rapid Fusion system
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems
- Collaborate effectively with charge RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia teams
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of current hospital-based Pediatric CVOR RN experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Cardiac / Open Heart surgery experience is required - candidates without this will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills- Pediatric nursing experience beyond CVOR
- Broad CVOR and cardiac surgical experience
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines (Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics)
- Strong communication skills with staff and providers; collaborative team-oriented approach
