Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required. Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment. Open-heart surgery experience required. License: Current state nursing license required. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS preferred. Must-Have: CVOR experience required. Must be able to scrub. Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Candidates must have experience in general cardiovascular surgeries. Strong knowledge of procedures such as Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) and valve replacements is necessary. Ability to circulate and scrub for cardiovascular surgeries is essential. Candidates should be able to handle on-call shifts as required. Experience in working with a multidisciplinary team is required. Participating in emergency procedures and maintaining patient safety is critical. Candidates will be expected to adhere to infection control protocols and best practices. This role requires effective communication with patients and team members. Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development is important. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but flu vaccination is mandatory.
