Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience License: Active Nursing License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, EKG testing must be passed prior to start Must-Have: - Experience circulating in the Cardiovascular Operating Room - Conscious sedation skills - Ability to float to other services including General, Ortho, GYN, Urology, Robots, Plastics, and ENT Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Candidates must be able to circulate and provide conscious sedation. The role includes floating to various surgical services as needed. Nurses will be on call 3-4 nights per week and every other weekend. A holiday rotation is also required. Candidates must pass EKG testing before the start date. ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory, while NIHSS certification can be obtained after acceptance. The daily census consists of managing 1-5 cases.
