Shift is from 06:30 to 19:00, Monday to Friday. Call is required for one weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday PM to Monday AM). Candidates must have two years of CVOR experience. First-timers accepted if experience requirements are met. Weekend call is required based on unit needs. On-call responsibilities may be required based on unit needs. Candidate may need to float to sister facilities to meet facility needs. Unit has a total of 12 operating rooms. Charting system used is Epic. The ratio is one to two RNs and one surgical tech per room. Scrub color is navy. Candidates should have skills in various procedures, including Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, and Mitral valve replacement, among others. Travelers must complete all facility-specific modules within the first week of assignment. Submission to local travel or permanent positions within the last two years may affect eligibility. Candidates who completed a full year on assignment should not be rebooked for at least one year. Ten days of requested time off are allowed per 13-week contract. Time off is limited during certain periods throughout the year.
