Provide direct patient care within the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting during day shift hours
Respond to on-call requirements as scheduled and operationally needed
Float to clinically appropriate units as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies
Collaborate with the surgical and cardiovascular care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with all unit-specific certification and competency requirements
Required Qualifications
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Willingness and ability to float to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice
Ability to fulfill on-call obligations as required by the unit
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a CVOR or cardiovascular surgical setting
Familiarity with cardiac surgical procedures and related equipment
Experience working in a float or multi-unit capacity within an acute care environment
