Hours per Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM or 6:45 AM - 5:15 PM, Monday to Friday
Experience: 2 years of CVOR circulating experience
License: RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have:
- 3 years of CVOR circulating experience
- Scrubbing experience preferred
Description:
This position requires high acuity in a nationally recognized cardiovascular and thoracic program.
Candidates must be highly skilled and experienced to circulate in a fast-paced and complex environment.
There are approximately 25 surgeons who work regularly in the operating room.
The ideal candidate will apply general CVOR knowledge and previous experience to work with any surgeon.
Call requirements include a minimum of one weekday and one full weekend per month, with variability based on staffing.
Weeknight and holiday call requirements are also present.
The workplace utilizes Epic as the charting system.
Experience with common cases such as CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics, and others is essential.
Candidates must be able to handle high volumes, averaging around 20 cases per day.
This role does not involve supervising OR techs, but it does require the ability to scrub if needed.
