Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiothoracic Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: - Cardiothoracic surgery experience with high-acuity surgical support. - General OR proficiency circulating across core service lines is required. License: - RN License must be unrestricted and active. - Must be valid in the appropriate state or provide proof of a compact license. Certifications: - BLS and ACLS certifications are both required. Must-Have: - Experience scrubbing cardiothoracic cases is preferred. - EMR experience with EPIC is required. - Call expectation includes four weekday shifts and four weekend shifts per month. Description: - We are a multi-service Level-II Trauma Center with multiple operating suites. - The unit supports three cardiothoracic surgeons and five vascular surgeons. - Experience in handling high-acuity surgical cases is essential for this role. - Floating may be required based on the facility's needs. - Candidates must have specialty experience within the last year. - NIH and stroke education is required for all staff. - All certifications must be through the American Heart Association. - Candidates will need to provide a supervisory reference. - Requests for time off should be kept to a minimum during the assignment.
