Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room - $2,653 per week in Augusta, GA

Schedule: 13-15 days per month with 1:1 patient ratio; every other weekend rotation; overnight call approximately 2x per week; regular day call approximately 1x per month; approximately 2 weekend call shifts per month; may occasionally float to Main OR in rare instances. Proficiency in abdominal and aortic aneurysm repair, carotid procedures, arteriovenous fistula repair, IABP, MAZE procedures, mitral valve replacement, and cardiac assist devices.

Highlights:

• Specialized endovascular and vascular service line experience with focus on EVAR procedures
• Advanced cardiovascular cases including TAVR, CABG, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, and ventricular assist devices
• Epic charting system (preferred) and Pyxis medication management
• Adult to geriatric patient population in a well-equipped facility
• OR scrubs provided by facility
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state) required at time of application
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
• Endovascular experience with vascular service line and EVAR procedures required
• Experience with CSI and Penumbra systems preferred
• Proficiency in abdominal and aortic aneurysm repair, carotid procedures, arteriovenous fistula repair, IABP, MAZE procedures, mitral valve replacement, and cardiac assist devices
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; orientation occurs bi-weekly
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
