Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Georgia

Schedule: 13-15 days per month with 1:1 patient ratio; every other weekend rotation; overnight call approximately 2x per week; regular day call approximately 1x per month; approximately 2 weekend call shifts per month; may occasionally float to Main OR in rare instances

Highlights:
  • Specialized endovascular and vascular service line experience with focus on EVAR procedures
  • Advanced cardiovascular cases including TAVR, CABG, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, and ventricular assist devices
  • Epic charting system (preferred) and Pyxis medication management
  • Adult to geriatric patient population in a well-equipped facility
  • OR scrubs provided by facility
  • First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (Georgia or Compact state) required at time of application
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience
  • Endovascular experience with vascular service line and EVAR procedures required
  • Experience with CSI and Penumbra systems preferred
  • Proficiency in abdominal and aortic aneurysm repair, carotid procedures, arteriovenous fistula repair, IABP, MAZE procedures, mitral valve replacement, and cardiac assist devices
  • Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; orientation occurs bi-weekly
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
