- Experience in scrubbing CV cases
- Charge experience preferred
- Experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
Description:
The position requires scrubbing CV cases.
Charge pay is offered.
First-time travelers are accepted if they have Level I Trauma experience.
Call is required approximately 100 hours every 6 weeks, with one call weekend every 6 weeks.
Float to other OR specialties is required.
Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
The facility is a short-term acute care with a total of 194, 210, 153, and 174 staffed beds.
Charting is done using a specific system.
The average daily census is between 70-80 patients.
Candidates should have experience with heart and lung transplants, aortic dissections, and ECMO.
All travelers are required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
Candidates must provide two supervisor references.
Local residents are accepted.
Temporary licenses may be allowed, but must obtain permanent license applications first.
A background check will be conducted prior to hiring.
Any prior employees must be away for 12 months before reapplying as a traveler.
Current or past travelers are required to take a break to reset travel eligibility after 12 months of employment.
