The population includes adults to geriatrics. There will be a patient ratio of 1:1. The position requires overnight call after shifts approximately 2 times per week. Regular day call is required about once a month, totaling 13-15 days per month. Approximately 2 weekend call shifts are expected. If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the candidate will be expected to work it. For two major holidays, the candidate is expected to work both. For three major holidays, the candidate is expected to work two of them. Entry to the position requires full compliance to start on time. Clinical screening will determine the candidate's fit for the role. Experience with procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and coronary artery bypass grafting is essential. The unit utilizes Epic and Pyxis for charting purposes. Flexible availability is required, with a maximum of 7 days for requested time off. Weekend work may be requested every other weekend and occasionally floating to the main OR may be required. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary.
