Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Circulate on cardiac open heart cases including Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery
  • Assist with heart valve procedures including Mitral Valve Replacement (MVR) and Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
  • Participate in general OR and vascular cases as assigned
  • Fulfill on-call obligations including a minimum of one weekend per month (24-hour call) and availability for one to two night call shifts (8-hour call shifts) per week
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Jersey
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the OR, including cardiac open heart cases
  • Experience circulating on cardiac cases including CABG and valve procedures
  • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with both general and vascular surgical cases
  • Familiarity with high-volume cardiac surgery environments
