Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2, delivering high-acuity critical care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Monitor and respond to changes in cardiovascular patient status, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license - State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
