Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) and/or ICU setting during night shift hours
- Float between two hospital campuses as operationally required, with one campus designated as primary
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients, including those with complex cardiovascular conditions
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements (navy scrubs)
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to assignment start
- Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona (verified within the last 30 days; no disciplinary actions on license)
- Minimum of 24 months of ICU or CVICU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required)
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency
- Must not be a current resident of Arizona — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Experience working in a large acute-care or multi-campus hospital environment
- Familiarity with geriatric, cardiology, or specialized critical care populations
