Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care tasks have been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
- Contribute to the competency development and oversight of clinical staff
- Manage resources appropriately in relation to patient care needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or a compact state
- Experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-unit ICU environment (CVICU, SICU, or MICU)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical care decision-making skills
