Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and monitor the NextStage CVVH machine for patients requiring continuous renal replacement therapy
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity, complex cardiac patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; up to three attempts permitted under defined criteria); strict pass/fail criteria apply
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
