    Registered Nurse – CVICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 and 19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend required | Some holidays required | No call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
    • Operate and manage the NextStage CVVH machine for continuous renal replacement therapy
    • Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
    • Float to other units as needed based on patient care demands
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular patient care
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in CVICU
    • Demonstrated experience with the NextStage CVVH machine

    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
    • Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care environment
