    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified CVICU RN in Hickory, North Carolina, 28601!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – CVICU (Travel Contract)

    Location

    Hickory, North Carolina

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required | No On-Call

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric populations
    • Manage and monitor patients with diagnoses including CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid procedures
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, and CRRT
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EHR
    • Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 with occasional 1:1 assignments
    • Float per scheduled rotation as needed to meet unit staffing requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in good standing
    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
    • Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience (post-orientation)
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Demonstrated experience with CABG, TAVR, STEMI, and carotid patient populations
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • CCRN certification preferred
    • Experience with Impella, IABP, and/or CRRT equipment
    • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to manage complex cardiovascular patients
