Contract | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in required facility orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing
- Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in CVICU (travel experience may be considered)
- Active and unencumbered permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
- Active ACLS certification required
- Active NIHSS certification required
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of CVICU experience within a single facility location
- Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care environment
