Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac events
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Participate in holiday coverage on a rotating every-other-holiday basis
Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU (travel experience may be considered)
Active, permanent Ohio RN license or active Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of CVICU experience obtained within a single facility
Prior travel nursing experience in a CVICU or comparable critical care environment
