Contract | Expected 36 hours/week | Day/Night Rotating Shifts | Weekends as assigned
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac Surgical ICU environment
- Monitor and manage critically ill post-cardiac surgery patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU (CVICU) experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and hemodynamic management
- Familiarity with post-operative care for complex cardiac surgical patients
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills in fast-paced ICU settings
