The CTICU is a high-acuity, specialized unit within the hospital that provides advanced care and 24-hour monitoring for patients recovering from complex surgeries or severe cardiac and respiratory conditions. Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel- Provide advanced care and 24-hour monitoring for patients in the CTICU
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as necessary
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress
Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS-AHA certifications required
- Minimum of 2-3 years of CVICU experience, with 2 years in the CT/CVICU
- Experience in Level 1 trauma and EPIC systems
- Travel experience required
