Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Local candidates are welcome and will be considered
Candidates should be prepared to cover the cost of parking
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a CVICU or cardiovascular critical care environment
Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and advanced cardiac support equipment
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity settings
