Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: October 1, 2026
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3 shifts per week with 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; 48 hours guaranteed

- 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio with Total Care Support including unit secretaries and dedicated technicians
- Advanced cardiovascular technology including IABP, Impella, and specialized monitoring equipment
- Comprehensive case mix featuring open heart procedures, ECMO cannulation, and Cath/EP Lab recovery
- Meditech EMR documentation system with Alaris IV pumps and GE bedside monitors
- Floating limited to Medical ICU and medical/surgical floor units
Requirements:
- Current Kansas RN license or ability to obtain
- ACLS and BLS certifications (or ALS and BLS)
- Experienced ICU registered nurse background required
- Cardiovascular ICU experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, pressors, positive inotropes, pacemakers, chest tubes, pericardial drains, and Cath/EP Lab recovery protocols
- Charge nurse experience preferred for night shift positions
- Ability to perform frequent site and vital sign assessments
