Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,779 per week in Redding, CA

This is a PASS/FAIL test. Candidates must be available to work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Unit has 30 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 to 1-2, with 90% of the time being 1 to 2. Charge Nurses do not take a patient assignment. Weekend requirements are every other week, no holiday requirement at this time but they may be required to work. Candidates require experience in managing ventilators. Clientists are available 24/7. Pharmacy services are also available 24/7. Shifts are from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, schedules are made out about 6 weeks in advance with self-scheduling. Floating will be to any telemetry or med-surg units. There will be one day of unit orientation specific to the floor. Common diagnoses and types of patients include diverse cardiac conditions. The cancellation policy allows for the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. Charting is done using a designated electronic health record.
