Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Kansas
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 48 hours guaranteed per week, 3 shifts per week, 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Highlights:
- 10-bed Cardiovascular ICU with 2:1 patient ratios in a Unit of Distinction setting
- Complex cardiac patient population including open heart procedures and ECMO cannulation
- Advanced equipment including Impella, IABP, Alaris IV Pumps, and GE Bedside Monitors
- Total Care Support available including unit secretaries and technicians
- EMR: Meditech documentation system
- Floating to Medical ICU and floor units as needed
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification
- Experienced ICU RN with strong telemetry skills
- Required experience: pressors, positive inotropes, pacemaker management, chest tubes, and post-procedure recovery
- Cath/EP Lab recovery experience, pericardial drains, and proficiency with frequent site and vital sign assessments
- CVICU experience strongly preferred; charge nurse experience highly valued for night shift candidates
- Royal blue scrubs required
