- Advanced skills in ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, Hemosphere or Acumen
Description:
This position is for a Rapid Response RN specializing in cardiac care.
The unit consists of 4 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for those on post-operative day 1-3.
Primary nursing with a focus on direct patient care is required.
The staffing on the unit includes unit secretaries and techs.
Documentation will be conducted using a Meditech Expanse system.
The scheduling requirement is for 36 hours weekly, including three weekend shifts every four weeks.
The floating policy will follow the same ratio as the unit assigned.
Candidates must possess a strong commitment to patient experience.
This unit is currently launching a new cardiac surgery program.
Successful candidates will join an experienced team in a dynamic environment with new equipment and technology.
