Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN) – Montana

Schedule: Full-time position in a 10-bed CVICU within a critical access facility with expanding cardiac services
Highlights:
- Immediate post-operative open heart recovery experience required in a specialized 10-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit
- Work with higher acuity cardiac patients in an expanding cardiac services program
- Operate advanced medical equipment including A-lines, central lines, chest tubes, ventilatory support, and cardiac telemetry
- Collaborative team environment with support from Providers, Charge Nurse, ICU Director, and CNO

- Diverse patient population including post-PCI, pacemaker, CHF, COPD, and broad surgical services
Requirements:
- Current Montana RN Licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Recent open heart recovery and critical care nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with hemodynamically unstable cardiac patients and advanced medical equipment
- Skilled assessment and intervention capabilities for potentially deteriorating conditions
- Knowledge of basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
