The role requires experience managing critically ill patients in a cardiovascular setting. You will care for patients with cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, heart failure, and various arrhythmias. Responsibilities will include monitoring and titrating medications, managing ventilated patients, and performing bedside procedures. You will work with advanced mechanical support devices, including IABP and Impella. The unit consists of 15 beds with an average daily census of 10. All registered nurses are expected to float occasionally to lower acuity levels as needed. Shifts will be rotating between night and day. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
